Review content:
I typically like my physicians to be casual and candid, but this was a bit much. He was joking around and teasing his hygenist the entire visit. I heard him curse several times during the cleaning regarding other things. Plus, the hygenist spent more time trying to get me to rent an apartment she owns. No matter what I said she wouldn't back off about it. That really got on my nerves.
Dr. McCaffery was thorough, but very rough on my teeth. I take great care of them, he even remarked on how great they looked, but he was still scraping away for all he was worth. Even when I told him he was hurting me he barely lightened up.
He is one of few dentists in this area who take my insurance, and his office is fairly convenient to get to from work. For those reasons I'd probably see him again, but I don't think I'd recommend him to anyone new.
