Businiess name:  Racine Danish Kringles
Review by:  Nathan P.
Review content:
Racine Danish Kringle is the main provider of Kringle to gas stations and grocery stores in the Racine area. Their Kringle is representative of the "quick and cheap" version. They have a bakery that ships out Kringle to the stores in the area, and the Kringle is allowed to sit for up to 3 days before they restock. This is bad for a couple of reasons. First, Kringle is best enjoyed fresh, and it's a pastry that tends to dry out quickly. Second, their pastry shell is the most dense and dry of any Kringle I've had, so to let it sit makes it even worse. Please, if you have been told to try a Kringle, go to the bakeries, and get something that is worth trying. Racine Danish Kringle had a big ordeal a couple years back about how they should own the rights to the Racine Kringle name, since it is in their store name. They lost the issue, and they have gone many years without getting any awards in the Kringle taste-testing.
