My husband and I have been to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach several times, and on one of these occasions we decided to try the Shrimp Basket for dinner. They were having a special (as seen on one of those plane banners). It was crowded and cramped, and service was not all that great. The all you can eat shrimp were those tiny popcorn shrimp, and they definitely didn't taste fresh. It was kind of gross, actually. There are so many really great seafood places to eat in Gulf Shores, most of them with fresh caught items when in season. I would definitely try those places before resorting to the Shrimp Basket.
