I went to Sam's with my friend who has a membership and my impression was that it's ok, if you aren't a vegetarian or someone who eats a lot of organic products. If you eat meat and/or non-organic, then you'll probably save a ton. The only section that really appealed to me was their book section. They have many good educational books that can be used for homeschooling at a huge discount. I don't think the cost of a yearly membership would be worth it if I was only going there for workbooks, though. I think if you are interested in checking them out you should snag one of the coupons they have in the weekly paper for a one day trial and do so that way. Then you can see whether it is worth it for your family.
