Review content:
When we moved to St. Louis in 1996, we needed to find a place to live in a town that we didn't really know much about from a neighborhood perspective. I pulled into town and made my way down to Clayton; it just seemed conducive to my wife and myself. I picked up a newspaper and headed to a little pub to start my quest to find a place to live. The little pub -- Krueger's.
After finding a number of places to look at in and around Clayton, we were finally shown a great little brownstone apartment that suited our tastes and our budget. In a deja vu moment, our apartment also happened to be about 100 feet from the front door of -- you guessed it -- Krueger's!
It's been a long time since we have been to our favorite little watering hole, but as neighborhood joints go, this place is great. If you stop by, grab a few beers and then check if it's OK (it used to be) to order Imo's pizza from the place next door. Turn on the Cardinals game, sit back and relax.
