Review content:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Edge. Its hip, sleek decor and eclectic music provide an urban casual atmosphere. I would say it's definitely for adults. The menu is rather limited, but that's common for elite restaurants. The service was professional and fairly observant. The fact that Edge is in a building adjacent to the newer downtown parking garage is helpful too.
The meals my companion and I had were very good. Our desserts were delicious. The food was presented nicely on the plate.
With such positive features, you might wonder why I give Edge 4 stars instead of 5 or why my review isn't enthusiastic and glowing. Unfortunately, as good as Edge was, I just don't think it's quite as good as its local competitors. I can think of one nearby restaurant in particular that I'd would choose over this one (and, to be totally honest, if we could have gotten a reservation at the other one, we wouldn't have eaten here). It's a solidly good restaurant, but it's not one of my favorites.
