Review content:
sligo golf course is a nice short golf course. all the par 4's are under 300 yards except the 430 yard par 4 ninth hole. it is a par 34, and even though it is really short, it is really hard to break par. the fairways are not very open and almost immediately after the fairway there are trees with pine straw underneath. you have to hit the ball straight to play well at sligo creek. the golf course is a short distance away from holy cross hospital right near downtown silver spring. there is a large group of regulars there that play 3 times a week and are most are very nice. the greens fees are 18 dollars during summer weekends and the junior rate is 11 dollars but only during the week. the course is in great shape and i love playing at sligo.
