I shop here mostly when I'm looking for good prices on toys, but I browse other areas and sometimes find an unexpected treat.
Another good reason to shop here is if you're looking for barely out-of-date toys. For instance, my son started liking Bear In the Big Blue House about a season after the show peaked. We couldn't find Bear toys anywhere, but Big Lots had picked up the remainders and we found a few things there.
The store itself is not an enjoyable place to spend any amount of time. The aisles are narrow and even a few people in the store can make it feel crowded. When there really are a lot of people in the store, the shopping experience can be miserable and I usually leave.
