Review content:
I have never in my professional career had a company screw up so royally and take so little responsibility. Due to a computer problem on their end they did not refund the funds from a voided payroll. However, they did mange to process the new payroll and withdraw those funds on time and sent my accounts into total major overdraft. When I contacted them the morning of the error they promised to call with information ... after closing someone finally returned my many calls to tell me it would take them 4 days to refund the money. Thus leaving my company flat broke and way overdrawn
This was not our only problem with them just the one that proved beyond a doubt that they were not a "business partner". They never offered a single solution or seemed to even be concerned that I was over drafted. Oh, but they were VERY concerned that the bank would not release the funds (yes, the same funds that were sending me into overdraft) to cover the new payroll that was 1/3 of the amount of the money they did not refund on time. My bank (First Citizens) spent more time on the phone with me trying to create a solution to the problem that Compupay created. . Oh and to add insult to injury ? I was told by Compupay that once I have provided them with a detailed statement from my bank, they will see if they can reimburse my overdraft fees. No, really they said that!
Pros: they are local
Cons: you want to go to their office and choke them
