I recently discovered Deals. It is a dollar store that offers a wide selection of items for $1. Everything in the entire store is $1.00. They have a huge selection of just about any category that you are looking for. My favorite things to get from there are children's board books, greeting cards (2/$1), take and toss food containers, batteries, and misc gifts items that I use for teachers, party favors and stocking stuffers. I have found Disney CDs, Wee Sing Cassettes, Enesco Winne The Pooh figurines, Carters Bibs, and many other name brand items there. I have been able to get very nice items to place inside of gift baskets for my child's teachers too. Another favorite of mine are the gift bags.
They have every size imaginable including bags large enough to hold a bike. Be sure to check them out at Christmas time. I found ornaments, stockings, tree blankets and even Christmas lights!
Make sure that you buy everything that you think you may want when you see it, as if you try to go back the next day, it may not be avail. People clear out the shelves on a great deal found here
