Businiess name:  Toys R US

Toys R Us definitely has the biggest selection of toys in the area. Their prices are also typically the highest in town, and being located in TN means the sales tax on purchases is high. However, they frequently have "buy 2, get 1 free" sales on various brands and sometimes will have a "buy 1, get 1 free" sale (usually on Fisher-Price or Little Tikes toys). Their green tag clearance prices are also great. You have to really look to find the bargains but you can wind up with $40 toys for just $4 if you luck out. They also have some fun events for the kids, usually on a monthly basis. In the past they have had a "meet and greet the Star Wars characters" day that my boys thoroughly enjoyed, as well as a Strawberry Shortcake themed day, an Easter egg hunt, monthly birthday celebrations, and more. Even on an everyday basis, my kids like to go there just to play with the train table they have set up. When shopping for just one or two kids' items, I'll typically go to Walmart in Oak Grove first, for their lower prices and lower sales tax. But if I can't find what I'm looking for there, or if there's a great sale going on at TRU, I am all for a trip to TRU. They almost always have exactly what I'm looking for (as well as many things I'm not shopping for but still can't resist buying) and if you go at the right time, you can get good deals. They are very community-friendly as well and shopping there is an enjoyable experience.
