Businiess name:  Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
Review by:  Deborah C.
Review content:
Cracker Barrel is the best family dining restaurant around. They have great food. The menu is full of southern favorites, like fried chicken, catfish, hush puppies, collard greens, biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken and dumplings and so much more. The list goes on and on. You can choose from about a dozen choices for your two sides that come with most entrées. They also have a breakfast menu which is fantastic. The biscuits and mini cornbread muffins are a must with any meal at any time of day! They are served fresh and hot from the oven with butter, honey and a selection of jams and jellies. There are also lighter items such as salads and grilled entrées. The service is great too, fast friendly and full of southern hospitality. The gift store is irresistible and one of my favorite reasons for going to Cracker Barrel. The gift shop is set up like an old country store with lots of goodies like old fashioned candy, baking mixes, candles, candle holders, quilts, collectibles, seasonal decorations, home decor, cards, stuffed animals, clothing and lots of other unique items. You can browse the store while you are waiting for your table. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday morning you will most likely have to wait for a table. There are rows of rocking chairs and rocking benches on the front porch and even some games and tables to keep you entertained while you wait. Cracker Barrel is not just a restaurant it is an experience, and it is one you won't want to miss.
