Review content:
Do NOT go to this restaurant without a reservation. We arrived to be immediately seated in a diningroom that was about 2/3 full. We asked for one of the empy booths but were told those were only for those who had made reservations. Fine. It took forever for a server to take our drink order and then we made the mistake of asking for a couple of minutes to read the menu before we ordered. While we waited for our server to return, we had an opportunity to watch people being seated in booths, receiving attentive service including drinks, bread baskets and attentive servers arriving in a timely manner. We finally gave up trying to get anyone's attention and literally tripped the manager on his way by so we could pay for our bottle of wine and then leave. Even that was a challenge. The only bright spot in our evening was after we left, we went across the street to the California Pizza Kitchen where we were warmly greeted and attentively served. After sharing our story of horrible service with our server, Selene, she even surprised us with free dessert. Wow!! We didn't expect that. Guess who will receive our future business.
