Well where do I start. Me my wife and aonther couple went to teak last friday. Ive heard mixed reviews about this place so I figured let me make my own decision. Mistake number one we got there and a very rude man in a wrinkled suit told us to wait at the bar even though the place was half empty. We had a drink each and was asked to pay the bill right away... "um okay" we were sat after about 20 minutes and began our ordeal... when asking general questions about the menu it seemed like we were intruding on our waitresses time she was snappy and not very helpfull. ok ok our food came and my sushi didnt seem right, the man in the wrinkled suit assured me it was ok (mistake number two) make a long story short it definetly wasnt ok. me and my wife ended up in the emergency room with severe stomach pains and profuse vometing... ( i didnt find out till the next day that the couple we went with had the same great experience in their local emergency room) the doctor told me it was FROM TAINTED FOOD and that the timing of the symptoms coincided perfectly with my dinner... well needless to say i called the restaurant not to complain, not for anything free, but to warn them and maybe check to see if someone else had the same problem, first the woman i spoke to said she herself got sick that same night then she put me on the phone with "the manager" i dont know why he got this title because i dont think he could manage to tie his shoes.. now the story changed he said noone ever got sick there and the girl was lying... "lying??" why would anyone lie about getting sick... then i was told "its ok if i never come back" DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT ONE, and yiou can quote me " I WILL NEVER GO BACK"
Pros: IF YOU LIKE SPENDING TIME IN THE HOSPITAL
Cons: TEAK ON THE HUDSON
