Businiess name:  Shane's Rib Shack

Review content:
I've eaten at Shane's in Franklin, TN many times. I have tried all the local "home grown" barbecue places. Shane's has the best sauce by far. Many others I've tried ruined the meal. I've learned to try just a little before putting it all over in strange bbq places. Even at Shane's there is no sliced pork. I don't understand why no bbq places in TN offer sliced pork...only pulled pork. In my opinion, good barbecue takes two things, good smoked pork, good sauce. Shane's is the best I've had in TN. I'm from East Central Alabama with a bbq joint on every corner. They all beat out any bbq places I've been to and I've eaten bbq in every state in the south. For Franklin, TN and even the whole Nashville area I prefer Shane's. They remember customers and it seems like a mom n pop place instead of a chain. They have the best sauce. All places around Nashville seem to have the same meat, so the sauce wins it for Shane's. They have good ribs. You "city-folk" who don't know that real spare ribs have fat on them, need to expand your horizons. I know you're used to those baby-back things all the chains sell as ribs. They are pitiful excuses for ribs. Pros: Sauce Cons: Kids allowed to run amuck.
