I'm an alumna of Mary Baldwin College's Program for the Exceptionally Gifted. I went to MBC for two years, majoring in biology and minoring in health administration. There are two things that Mary Baldwin offers that make it unique and grand. The small, all-female campus is gorgeous and fosters a really special feeling of cameraderie - imagine the whole campus as one big sorority, and you'll get the idea. The classes are small enough that you really get to know your professors, and they're able to help you as much as you'd like - a BIG advantage over huge state schools where you're merely a name on a roll and a body in a seat. If you're looking for a great small college to start you on the path to success, MBC is definitely worth your consideration.
