Review content:
I recently attended a conference that took place at this hotel. I had not had any experience with a Holiday Inn beforehand. I did not stay in the hotel overnight for the conference, but I will say that my impression of the hotel itself was very high.
They had a very large banquet room and it was of higher elegance than some other rooms I have been in. Additionally, they could partition off the room into sections if they wanted to. Besides the large banquet room, there were several other conference rooms surrounding the banquet room, which helped the conference services. They had a grand piano in the conference lobby, which makes me think that it could be an elegant set up for a wedding.
Their conference area overlooked a courtyard, which contained many dining tables, possibly for receptions. That courtyard connected to a very nice pool area, though they were separated by a pool house.
We had a banquet at the end of the conference. The table setup was very nice. The Hor d'ouvers were nice as well, and served on a large table in the lobby. The main meal itself was a buffet set up, and with that I was not largely pleased. The problem was not that it was the buffet, but that the food was bland and common. I did not think it was really worth the cost of the meal.
