I USE TO WONDER HOW THE RED CROSS WORKS FOR THOSE IN NEED AND AROUND THE COMMUNITY.....OR JUST HOW WELL THEY ARE DOING THEIR JOB. I HAVE BEEN GRACIOUS ENOUGH TO FIND OUT IN BOTH WAYS. WHEN MY HOME BURNED DOWN, THEY WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO COME TO ME, THEY WERE THERE WHILE THE FIREMEN WERE STILL PUTTING OUT THE HOT SPOTS! THEY WERE AMAZING, COMFORTING AND A GOD SEND BY HELPING WITH FOOD AND OTHER ESSENTIALS. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THE RED CROSS. I HAVE SINCE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE IN SAME FUNDRAISERS AND OTHER CHARITABLE EVENTS ALONGSIDE THEM THROUGH PAST JOBS, THEY REALLY ARE THERE FOR ALL PEOPLE, AND THIS IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT IS THERE FOR THE CAUSE AND THE PEOPLE - THIS COUNTRY REALLY NEEDS TO APPRECIATE AND SUPPORT THEM - WE NEVER KNOW WHEN IT COULD BE US OR SOMEONE WE ARE CLOSE TO!
