I believe that they opened 4/06 and I started going there around 5/06. Cathy does my hair and color and everyone loves it. I have gotten so many compliments since she's been doing my hair. There's 4 people who work there and everyone is so nice. the second I come in, someone is getting me coffee and asking me if I'd like a bagel, piece of cake, etc.
It isn't a very large shop, so you are really catered to. They are always on time and I have sent so many people to Cathy. She will NEVER overcut your hair, as a matter of fact, most of the time she takes a little off if I am unsure and will always take the time to cut more.
I'd send anyone to her, or really anyone else in the shop if she's not available. Everyone specializes in color and continually go for updated classes. They use all of the best products like Goldwell and Scruples Blazing hilighting and lo-lighting system. I looked into it before trying it for the first time and it lifts and deposits using no more then 20 Volume peroxide.
Most places will talk you into more services, but I can not believe that at times, she will tell me to wait one more visit. Oh, and while you're there, try a Sundae on your hair. I get to choose a goldwell mousse color mixes with their conditioning treatment... it's the best!
Pros: Always on time. Cathy REALLY listens to what I have to sayand I can say the same for the rest of the staff. Everyone is age 38 into their 40's with years of experience and have been working together for a long time. The staff will stay for you if you are ubecause it's been done for my family and friends. They really are nice people.
Cons: Parkingbut people don't realize that there's a municipal parking lot across the streetor parking up the block and around the block.
