I recently returned to my alma mater for a class reunion and stopped in with some friends at Pampered Palate, one of our favorite old restaurants. I couldn't believe that it was still there, nearly ten years later, but I remembered why once they brought out my cheese board and white wine. Just like the old times, the fruit and cheese were fresh, beautifully presented, and a steal at their $5 price.
I have many fond memories of this place and of Staunton. This is a beautiful, friendly restaurant in a beautiful, friendly city. Definitely give it a try - you'll fall in love with it like we all did way back then.
