Review content:
Regal Crossgates is what I would consider to be the premier update mega movie plex in the area. Since they closed the other theater located in Crossgates, it has become the movie theater to go to to see your popular hits.
They offer stadium seating, which is nice compared to how the other theater in the mall was. The disadvantage to this seating however is that during extremely popular showings of movies, you need to get there early to find a good seat. I once saw the remake of "Dawn of the Dead" on opening night, and our group of four could not find a seat in the upper level. We were forced to sit on the bottom flat level and lean back to stare upwards at the screen.
Regal, as a chain, has high prices. Expect to pay $9.xx on a weekend night. The advantage to it being a Regal theater though is that they have their Regal Rewards Card. You get points for every show you see and concession item you buy. With 40 points (4 ticket purchases) you get a free medium popcorn. Though it's not the best benefit in the world, it is a nice treat especially if you are someone who does not normally purchase concession items.
