Review content:
When you enter The Big Easy Bistro, a recently opened bistro in downtown Smithfield, you feel you have stepped off the streets of New Orleans' French Quarter. Seating is cozy, but private, in the main dining room and bar areas. The entire 2nd floor is available for dining or can be reserved for parties or group meetings, seating up to 30 people. The walls are covered with hand painted murals depicting scenes of the Garden District and an operable garden fountain stands at the top of the stairs. The decorator has brought in the real feel of New Orleans with touches of Mardi Gras, Jazz and Blues, throughout the decor. The food is served in portions that allow you to savor the flavor of each dish. Service was provided in a timely manner and I loved the smoked flavor of my entree. I highly recommend the bistro as a place where the ambiance invites you in for a relaxng dinner and evening with friends.
