Review content:
The first thing I noticed when I entered Cafe DOr was how amazingly clean and fresh the restaurant was kept. From the impeccable table tops to the shining counter display, the restaurant was appealing. Of course the next step was to try the food. I got several of the items from the food display in what they call a Tasting Plate. It was a enough food for three people and was very inexpensive. The waitress took the time to explain what each item was (homemade hummus, homemade tabouli, homemade baba ghanouj, homemade falafel, homemade grape leaves, homemade moujadara, etc). The plate also came with chicken shawarma- tender, juicy, flavorful, lean meat. Everything was homemade, unbelievably fresh and delicious. The service is half self and half full, the waitress was more then happy to help (and did) but we were hungry to we took our own initiative to get our drinks and silverware. It was a beautiful day and fortunately we scored a table outside (the only out door venue in Belmont). I truly have nothing bad to say about the cafe and highly recommend it to all.
Pros: Everything was fantastic.
Cons: Really do not have anything to complain about.
