I stopped into the Rug and Yarn Hut last week because it was a local yarn store I hadn't tried and I was in the neighborhood. They were very nice to my kid, and offered to help me, but the store was a disaster. I would never have my store in such a state of disrepair. It was almost not clear where the back room started and where the store ended, they had lots of stuff on old racks that looked like they might fall over anytime, and the only yarn I was remotely interested in had the label taken off -- I wasn't even sure it was new! Other stores would have discounted yarn like this, that didn't look new, but not them. I definitely won't be back.
