My family and I were all looking for something fun to do last weekend. All my brothers and sisters were in, from their different cities and states, and we had all of our children, so we needed something to do that would be fun for the entire family. We had already been to the theater, and were looking for something more lively. My sister suggested bowling... which is something my children quickly agreed with! So we all loaded up in our vehicles, and, of course, we did not even spend much time thinking about where to go. We headed straight for River Lanes. My sister and I used to live very close to River Lanes, so we knew it was a safe, fun environment, where even the youngest kids could go and have a great time. We went, planning to stay maybe an hour, it ended up being more like four! The kids and adults alike had a wonderful time, hanging out with each other, and competing in the bowling competition! We rented two lanes, one for the adults, and one for the kids... with the bumpers up, so they could make those strikes, with just a bit of help! It was truly a blast! A couple more things I love about River Lanes, their bar section is completely closed off from everything else. Also, their concession prices are definitely low, compared to many similar entertainment venues. So you can go and have an awesome time, without going broke!
