The Texas Roadhouse in Milton located on Hwy 90, or Caroline St in Milton is great! The food is fantastic. They have fresh and delicious looking cuts of meat displayed in a refrigerated case when you enter. They have many cuts of steak to choose from. This place is a meat-eaters heaven. The food is prepared to order and is always hot, fresh and delicious. The appetizers are wonderful and the prices are very affordable. The servings are generous and I always have enough left over to have another meal. I have to admit my favorite food item is their delicious, soft hot dinner rolls served with butter mixed with cinnamon and sugar. Oh my goodness, I could just eat those and be satisfied. In fact I have to be very careful not to fill up on them before my meal comes. They keep them coming as long as you want more. That actually may have something to do with the fact I always have enough left overs for another meal!
The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. It is noisy enough that you can bring young kids and they won't bother the other diners but not so noisy that you can't hold a conversation. The service is always friendly and professional. These are some of the many reasons this location is so popular. They have call ahead seating which I highly recommend if you are planning on dining there on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening. It gets very busy and there can be quite a wait if you don't call ahead. They are also happy to prepare orders to go for individuals or groups of people. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend that you try it at least once. I'd say it's a safe bet that you'll return.
