Review content:
My boyfriend took me here one morning after we were rejected by Pho Hoa a few blocks down (it would not have been open for another hour). He too had never been there. To both our delight, they served Vietnamese Sandwiches!! And according to him, it was pretty good. I got the "fresh rolls" which were equivalent to the spring rolls (definitely cheaper than at Pho Hoa). The one complaint I have about this dish is the sauce. At Pho Hoa, they put in little bits of chunky nuts for extra texture and offer a spicy variety for the sauce. One other dish I was glad to find here was the Moon Crepe, or the Vietnamese crepe, really good if made with the right amount of mung beans and meat bits. They did not have Banh Coun, which is another delightful dish. Anyway, this place offers a wider variety of Vietnamese dishes and so I give it a thumbs up! I can not say I know how great is their pho.
