Review content:
My husband and I used to live close by to this restaurant for three years, of which we made a point to eat at Bonsai almost once a week. The staff is friendly and the sushi portions are generous. This restaurant has the unfortunate luck of being tucked away in a strip mall where it is hard to see from the street... on the flip side, everytime we went in to eat we never had to wait. The sushi is fresh and the menu has a great selection. Also, they have a happy hour menu with a number of rolls to select making this a great, affordable place to eat. The sushi chefs are also extremely friendly and generous with samples on slow nights. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Never a wait to eat, great Happy Hour prices, generous portions
Cons: Small - when a group is at the Teppen Yaki tables it get's a bit noisy and smoky
