Review content:
This place was a little hard to find, wrapped around the corner from the bike shop. But it sure was worth the search. Very nice atmosphere, smallish, almost romantic, very comfortable feeling. Probably great for a date, but also nice for a couple friends getting together or dinner with the family. Now that the table is set, we get to the best stuff. The food! The calamari appetizer was probably the best we've ever had. Lightly breaded, very fresh, large pieces and a good size portion, I can't wait to go back for more. Then the entrees arrived and again for the price, the portions and freshness brought a smile to our mouths. Two large fresh thick tuna steaks cooked to perfection, five or six large prawns over risotto, brilliant color, tender. Both entrees were enough to satisfy but left just enough room to be tempted by the homemade deserts....but that will be a story for another time.
I've read rave reviews about the lunch and breakfast menus but cannot dream of trying those until I get thru the complete dinner menu. Wide range that will please whatever mood you are in without redundancy within a food group. Every single entree looked like a winner and I cannot wait to go back. Really a wonderful dining experience, total satisfaction. If you enjoy food, I can't imagine not being happy after trying this Chef owned and operated restaurant. I found them thru Restaurant. dot com, and will not hesitate to go back and pay full price.
Pros: quality of food, value, comfortable relaxed setting
Cons: a little tricky to find, open view into part of the kitchen/prep area (not an issue for me)
