Businiess name:  Lisa G Cafe Wine Bar

Review content:
My husband and I were looking for a 'secret' nook to share a romantic dinner before the theatre a few weeks ago, and Lisa G's turned out to be just that!!!!! I had grabbed two restaurant names off of CitySearch and we drove off in search of them. As we pulled up to the cafe, I knew immediately we had made the right choice. Lisa G's is located in an old house (very nostalgic for me as that is a popular setting in Seattle, where I grew up). Inside, the structure of the house was unchanged, as were the old hardwood floors. The hostess, Lisa, greeted us - got our names and didn't forget them once through the night! The setting was small, intimate, and dark. Though the tables were small and close together, when they sat another couple next to us we found ourselves visiting as if we knew each other! The menu is filled with appetizer-like fare. Fantstically prepared and plated, everything was done to perfection. The flavors were dead on in every plate we ordered (4 plus dessert) Our server was amazing, the wine list impeccable! (Being married to a former Vegan/Chef, we are particularly picky about our food) I can't WAIT to find a couple to take there with us, so we can all enjoy the atmosphere together. We were dressed for the theatre, and we had other diners in shirtsleeves and jeans, but never once felt out of place. Did I mention too that the food was fantastic!!!! I couldn't find a single thing to nitpick - all the furniture was a modern classic mix and completely envelops every sense frrom the moment you walk in. By the way, I do NOT work there, nor am I even remotely related to anyone that has anything to do with the company's operations. :) If you are looking for a fantastically romantic place to have a beautiful dinner, this is the place. I would go out of my way to drive there just for the wine, or the food, or the service. All together however, there is almost perfection here. I can't wait to return! Pros: Ambience, Romantic Setting, Food, Service, Wine List Cons: Smallish parking lot, but was sufficient even when all the tables were full!
