Review content:
The Lakeside Riding Academy offers lessons and trail rides in Hempstead Lake Park. I went on a trail ride that was excellent. Trail rides are around $20 and last for about 1 hour to 1 ½ hour depending on the speed of your horse. Horses are well trained and two guides are there to make sure everyone stays on the trail. The commands for the horse are easy to learn. The trail itself is beautiful in the spring, summer and fall. There are plenty scenic views of the lake on the trail.
