Review content:
The customer service here cannot be beat! It's a small town. You definitely get the "you're not from around here" stare when you walk in the door. But you also get the kind of personal attention that makes you want to come back.
It's worth going here just to peruse the cookie jar collection. I'm always talking about what it's like to take my kids these places and this restaurant wins high honors in that category. They encouraged us to walk all over and examine all the cookie jars and they brought my kids stuffed toys. They were just all-around nice people.
I'd like to say that the food was outstanding, but it was really just very good standard fare. It was a good meal, but there were no signature entrées to lure us back.
So my advice is to go for the cookie jars, stay for the hospitality and have realistic expectations about the food. Keep that in mind and you'll have a good time.
