Review content:
I really enjoy Lisa's Yarn Shoppe in Meridian. I don't go very often because I can't afford to go very often, but the quality and selection of yarn is wonderful!
I find that one of the ways I gage local businesses is by how they look at me when I arrive with my three kids in tow. I have well-mannered kids and I can usually tell in a heartbeat if the owners of the store are going to give my kids a chance to show how good they can be. Lisa's Yarn Shoppe is squeezed into the cramped quarters of an old house and, for me anyway, yarn shopping takes time. When I'm wiping noses and patting heads, it takes more time. I've always been made to feel comfortable here. We usually sit on the floor near the back of the store, near the bathroom (another Thank You from the mother of three), and I look through pattern books while my older daughter tries to convince me to buy one fluffy yarn after another. I sit and nurse and parent and usually when I buy, I buy a lot. When my sister is in town, we buy a lot more. I appreciate a business that takes care of its customers and Lisa's Yarn Shoppe certainly does.
