Review content:
My son was recently invited to a birthday party at this skating rink. It was our first....and last visit there. The rink was dark and cluttered. I can't complain about the noise level -- that is par for skating rinks. I didn't think it had to be so dark. My son had never roller skated before -- and I was only allowed to be with him on the floor if I had skates on myself. That would make sense if my son would've moved more than 1 inch from the edge of the rink. Also would've made sense if I had any skill in roller skating. Unfortunately I don't. Thus it was a bad experience: wobbly Mom on skates trying to help inexperienced 4 year old son wobble on skates. I don't see why I couldn't have kept my sneakers on in order to be a more stable point for my son to hold on to while he edge around the rink's sides. I don't see us going back any time soon.
