I met Dr. Hollis when I had to make a run to the ER for a severely abcessed tooth. He was the oral surgeon on call, and I am so glad that he was.
I have needed oral surgery for about 6 years, and never could get up the nerve to have it done. When I had to go back to his office for a follow-up on my ER visit, I realized that I had met the one that could do the work!
He pulled one tooth in the ER and just last week, he removed the rest of my upper teeth and one of my lower ones. I have had NO swelling, bruising or pain from either of the procedures. (I know every situation is different, but that is what I experienced.)
He is wonderful. He is kind and understanding. He has a very gentle touch and has a soft spoken way. He doesn't try to push you beyond what you are ready to do.
I received a follow-up call after my surgery. He was very thorough in his explanations of pre and post-op care and of the procedures he was going to do. He explained everything to my family member that went with me and made sure that she understood my post-op instructions before we left the office. He assured us that if we had any questions, any time, just call and they would get hold of him if he wasn't in the office.
The nurse that assisted him with my surgery was also very kind and caring.
I would recommend him to anyone that needs his services, especially if you are like me and have been putting it off. Go to him - you'll be so glad you did!
