What's there wrong about the Gap? It's nearby, relatively safe in terms of colors, sizes, and trends, and rarely stretches your budget. The Gap on Walnut St is essentially on Penn's campus and suffers the consequences - there are some items which every other student on campus will wear, and others which head straight to the sale's table. The very existence of the later is quite a boon to those in search of a deal - I still love the $20 silk (and somehow washable) skirt I picked up one summer.
