I am pleasantly surprised as this is the only real Japanese restaurant in Waldorf. I have patronized Sakura twice within 6 weeks. Both times have been great experiences. The restaurant is large enough to separate the teppanyaki side from the sushi bar area without the smokiness or aromas coming from the grills. The sushi & drink menus are reasonably priced. Service is attentive but unintrusive. The rather large sushi platter for 2 has more than enough for 2 people. The soft-shell crab rolls are delicious! No need to drive into DC or VA for yummy sushi!
