I travel alot for work, so for out-of- town entertainment I love shopping at Mom & Pop pet stores when visiting other cities. After reading the reviews of Chatear le Paws I couldn't wait to see for myself, when I finally got to work in Monterey. I have disagreed with some reviewers before but, WOW, I was completely surprised on how nice this store was. I met Joanne, and she was very friendly and knowledgable. They had a great selection of doggie products, not as much for cats. It was a bright clean store and I did not see one fly in the baked dog biscuits. The prices were also not as bad as I thought they were going to be and the quality of the products were very good. I will definitely stop in if I'm ever in Monterey again. My guess is that a disgruntled employee wrote the review.
