I don't get it. The last reviewer must have no taste. That is the only way to account for him liking Yankee Doodle's over the Gaslamp. Sad!! My husband and I found The Gaslamp through our miles program. I had actually driven by a few times and had never been in. This place has come a long way since the old "LB" times. It has a great casual ambiance and the staff were all really friendly. My husband had the NY steak and would not share it - he liked it so much. I had the Gaslamp Burger which is a great guilty pleasure. I did order vegetables instead of fries and they were perfectly cooked. I ordered the molten chocolate cake for dessert and my husband had the cream brulee. Our server told me they make all of the desserts from scratch and I can tell you that they were awesome. The chocolate cake was definitely worth the wait. They have cool flyers on the table advertising all of their food specials and entertainment. They had a wine tasting going on while we were there and we will be back to check that out next Thursday.
