Our book club meets once a month at various restaurants through out the Portland area, this month we chose Roux. The food was absolutely fabulous!! The salad's, vegetables, entree's and desserts were phenominal. We were incredibly impressed with the flavors and presentation of all the dishes.
HOWEVER, our service was less than desirable. We were a party of 6 women with reservations, who were seated immediately -which was great. However, it took quite sometime for us to receive our menues and place our drink orders. We had to ask for a dessert menu, no one asked us if we wanted another beverage, or refill on coffee, we had to ask for our bill, AND one of our members never received her dessert. This member cancelled her dessert after waiting way too long. We all agreed we would go back for the food - but the service ................was iffy at best!
