I have always tried to maintain proper health insurance coverage, but if you are like me, it seems that we pay, pay pay for SOO many types of insurance monthly, that there is not much $ left after! So, I always try to look for new health plans with better rates. I am in the medical industry myself but more of an independent contractor so I usually pick up the tab for my healthcare costs. It's ok, as it balances out. I have always had BCBS but after several new rate hikes, I figured it best to check elsewhere. I found a new program Human ONE which offers to people under 60 and can be fit to any type of lifestyle. I opt for a higher deductible, which means lesser monthly cost, but it is a PPO and has great coverage. You can sign up online or thru phone and it's a really great health plan. Great customer service also, and you can add dependents, RX program, or maternity riders also.
