Review content:
This training facility is for training in forest resource management, prescribed fire, and wildfire management. Two campuses are available with one right in the forest.
The education of prescribed fire has opened up the public to understanding that a renewed forest is a healthy forest. Plus one's own land may need a burn now and then. After a burn, I have seen beautiful rare lilies appear on the land. With overgrown wiregrass and seasonally dry palm fronds, a burn can rejuvenate an area and prevent wildfires. Lodging and full cafeteria are available. Parking adequate. Classes fill up early. Website is
