Review content:
The NYS Museum in Albany is a GREAT place for the family. This museum is free! It is amazing they are able to do this. It is clean, modern and up to date. They have all sorts of things, animals, vehicles, even a truck from the trade center and additional items from the 9-11 attacks. There is a lovely old carousel also there for $1 the kids can ride. There is a kids area with fun things for the kids to do- hands on. They also have special days with activities for the family. The museum now even hosts birthday parties for kids- the price is very reasonable. The only downfall is that it is impossible to goto the museum during the week because there is little to no parking because of the state workers! Weekends are no problem!
