Review content:
NYS offers free or a few dollars admission fee to its state parks around the area and you won't be sorry you visited them. From Boating, Swimming, Fishing to Hiking, Picnic Areas and camping you will enjoy the fresh country air and atmosphere in the parks.
Camping spots whether under the stars or situated in the pines are a favorite for campers and each camper has their own area in which to set up their tents or other camping equipment. Cooking grills are available in the camping areas and areas in the same spot have places to keep a bonfire going in the evening to take off the chill of the mountain air.
The Parks are monitored by Rangers as safety is an issue which makes the camper comfortable to know that they can depend on help if they happen upon problems at their camp sites from other campers or visitors.
The Lakes are stocked with all kinds of fish for the avid Fisherman and Swimming areas have a good supply of lifeguards to keep an eye on everyone in the water from the beginning swimmer to the most advanced swimmers.
The State Parks are great for reunions and get together and alcohol is off limits in the park.
They have pavilions that you can rent or use when not rented out for your picnics.
Picnic Tables and outdoor grills dot the landscape almost right down to the beach.
For a cheap and carefree summer vacation Camping is a great vacation for those who don't want to travel far from home.
Low or no cost to the outdoors lover.
A great vacation spot with many things to do whether it be boating or just sitting back in a lawn chair and relaxing down by the lake with a good book.
Make sure you bring bug spray with you.
