Businiess name:  Rey's Restaurant

Review content:
Waiters should be more knowledgeable but they make an effort. Crab cocktail was fresh. Remoulade had a balance of heat and flavor. Fried oysters would have benfited by salt and cayenne. Filet mignon was average needing more hollandaise. Only one tournados had crab. Quickly remedied but should have been caught before it left the kitchen. Grouper was superb. Bananas Foster was dessert, made personally by Rey. It took a while to get the ingredients set up at our table. By the time he was igniting the brandy our vanilla ice cream had nearly melted. Still, they drew customary oohs and ahs from nearby tables. Ours was a romantic dinner, but it could also be a large adult-only group with a few apple martinis and some steaks. All in all Reys was good, but still a work in progress. Which way they head will depend on their committment to their craft. Pros: Attention to Ambiance, Efforts to please, Wine list Cons: Familiar Food, Green Staff, Small portions
