Review content:
I checked out some books recently at the Lake Jackson branch library on Circle Way. My four year old son picked out 2 books and I picked out 3. We kept the books for a week and returned them to find new ones. When I came back to the counter to check out more the librarians starts interrogating me about one of the children's book I had just returned. She asked me if I let my dog "read" the book. I was appalled since I do not own any pets. She then proceeds to tell me that I owe them $16 for the small children's book. The binding was coming off of the book but considering the amount of time the book had been in circulation (almost 2 years), I thought she was being unreasonable. I paid the fee, took my new tattered children's book and left. I will never check out materials from that library, nor will I ever support the Lake Jackson library at all.
