I took my car to All Tune and Lube (AT&L) last may for transmission problems. I chose AT&L simply because I had a cupon for $150 off a rebuilt tranny. They had my car 3 days after which I recieved a 6 month warrenty. The cost to me was $1500. A few days later I discovered that my golf clubs had been stolen from my trunk, and the trunk had been rigged to not open. I had to pull my back seat forward to get into the trunk, which is when I discovered the missing clubs. The problems with AT&L had only just begun, however. The car ran ok until november when my daughter and I were on our way to detroit to see a concert. The tranny went out on the highway near Lansing. I had to have the car towed from there at the cost of $137. AT&L took the car back and said they would fix it for free (even though the tranny was still under warrenty, the owner, Chris, made it sound as if he were doing me a favor). Chris refused to give me any kind of print out of the repairs done to the car or parts fixed. He insisted he didn't have to. The tranny only lasted 6 weeks. Long story short, they had my car a total of four times and never fixed my tranny. My car now sits in the driveway totally undrivable. AT&L never honored my warrenty, and I am now suing them in small claims court.
Do yourself a favor and take your car to any number of reputible service stations in Battle Creek, but avoid AllTune and Lube unless you like being taken advantage of.
Pros: zero, zip, zilch, none, nada, non existant.
Cons: theft of personal property, horrible service, refuses to honor warrenties
