Review content:
Tutu's is fairly new to Simi Valley, but I think it is the greatest thing that has happened to that town! I live in the San Fernando Valley, but I will take any chance I get to go to Tutu's, and I've even been known to drive out just for their hawaiian ice. Most people go out for drinks after work, me and my best friend go out for hawaiian ice. Now, keep in mind, this is not your average snow cone. To call it a snow cone would do it a disservice. Hawaiian Ice is soft, shaved ice, with wonderfully delicious flavors. I've tried many of them, and they are all great. (My favorite is green apple.) They also have ice cream, and the flavors are totally unique and yummy. Like, kiwi ice cream or papaya ice cream, just for example. the atmosphere is bright and airy, and it is run by the sweetest couple. The woman wears hawaiian flowers in her hair, and the decor is colorful and flowery, hawaiian style. Kids will love this place! They also have an offer for school age kids that if you come in with your parents and you bring in a good report card, you get a free hawaiian ice. Since it is fairly new, and fairly small, I am really hoping that this place gets really popular, because I want it to stay open. It is the best! Please visit and support this local mom and pop shop.
