Review content:
The Texas Energy Museum is in a beautiful building and has lots of interesting displays. The bottom floor has a great aquarium and displays of different uses for petroleum. Geology exhibits and information about the oil industry are educational, and the top floor has a fun look at the Spindletop oil field discovery with robotic figures telling the tale in a humorous manner. There's also a huge photo wall of an offshore rig. This a great place for anyone interested in the history of oil. It's open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 5 and Sunday from 1 to 5 and costs $2 admission.
