Review content:
This is a favorite restaurant for my husband and me. We love to go to Cathryn's on a leisurely Saturday or Sunday afternoon for a Champagne brunch or late lunch. The restaurant is tucked away off an alley on Main Street. It is a charming spot that seems to take you away to a quaint cafe in Tuscany.
The menu is Italian inspired and the pastas, seafood and other entrees reflect this influence. There are daily specials which you can't go wrong with including risotto, sandwich, frittata. My favorite is the gnocci and insalata tricolore. Wonderful wine selection (the "cellar" lines one entire wall in the restaurant). Excellent espresso and cappuccino.
Enjoy your meal al fresco (weather permitting) on the adjoining patio. Service is efficient without being overbearing--our servers are always pleasant and the owner is usually there to greet patrons and keep things running smoothly. Open for lunch and dinner--recommend reservations on the weekend.
